With the growth of cellular users and the applications developed
for these devices, the competition of cellular network
operators also has increased. The great variety of subscriber
behaviors, according to their preferences and the type of traffic
generated by them, caused operator has a difficult task in the
segmentation of their subscribers.
Since users have different demands due to their own interests,
purposes, and places they frequent, it is necessary the
implementation of personalized recommendation applications
for each user, avoiding to send messages that could be recognized
as spam for a particular group of users.
Recommendation Systems aims to help users to find items
of interest from a range of options available; to meet this goal
is necessary to define databases with different user profiles.
Several types of commercial organizations can use these
databases to increase their sales. There are papers relating to
the processing of data by different algorithms [1], [2], [3] and
their applications in different areas such as e-commerce [4],
[5] and for educational purposes [6], [7].
