Provide a wide variety of intensive orientation, support, referral and advocacy services to immigrants
Essential Functions
Actively participates in recruitment and enrollment in Services to Immigrant Families Program..
Maintains knowledge of community and program resources.
Performs all assignments related to interpreting/translation from Spanish.
Prepares and timely submits program recruiting materials, such as ads, flyers, etc.
Collects information from clients to determine eligibility
Reflects and maintain accurate and up to date clients' information in programs' spreadsheets
Handles general information calls for program
Prepares and submits reports as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience working with immigrants preferred.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish a must.
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational/ record-keeping skills.
Strong computer knowledge.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Deep desire to help others.
