Principle
Ronozyme WX supplemented feed samples are extracted with buffer and the extracts are incubated with a dye-labeled xylan. The xylanase releases soluble oligomeric cleavage products from the dye-labeled xylan. The remaining polymeric dye-labeled xylan is removed by precipitation and the solu oligomeric cleavage products in the supernatant are measured photometrically at 590 nm. The intensity of the color is proportional to the xylanase activity The xylanase activity is determined using a standard curve of a certified Ronozyme WX xylanase standard.
