RESULTS: Indications for obstetric rapid response team calls include
nonreassuring fetal heart tracing (64%), precipitous deliveries (11%),
abruption (9%), cord prolapse (7%), and eight other indications (8%).
The decision-to-incision time was 9.260.45 (127) minutes. There was
no correlation between the decision-to-incision time and Apgar score
at 1 minute (r50.165; P5.072; n5120) or Apgar score at 5 minutes
(r50.170; P5.063; n5120); however, there was a positive correlation
between the decision-to-incision time and arterial pH (r50.257,
P5.011; n596) and venous pH (r50.293; P5.003; n5103).
