Relative standard deviations of the samples are shown in
Table 3. Repeatability estimations using pooled data of the samples
indicated a relative standard deviation of 5.2 and 12.7% for nitrate
and nitrite, respectively. The random errors of different nitrate
containing-foods were within the acceptable values for repeat-
ability (HorRat values=0.5-2); in the case of low-nitrate containing
foods as well as medium- and low-nitrite containing foods, higher
HorRat values were observed
