Today we received 12 dozen electric lamp bulbs supplied on our order No. 23 of August 31. 20... but we regret to report that 15 bulbs were broken. @@ The package containing the bulbs appeared to be in perfect condition. I unpacked the bulbs myself with great care and can only assume that the damage must be due to rough handling in transit. @@ will you please send us replacements or credit the loss to our account? Meanwhile, we have put the broken bulbs aside in case you need them to support your claim for insurance.
