Nursing accreditation is one evaluation system in Taiwan
that gives credits representing nursing capabilities.
In this system, nurses are accredited as N1 when they
are beginner or novice nurses who need to be closely
supervised, although some hospitals require 1 year of
experience for new nurses (called N or N0) to be
accredited as N1. Nurses accredited as N, N0 or N1 are
capable of performing basic patient care or basic
nursing.
