Dear Sir,
In regard to the subject, we hereby would like to clarify the pending transformer dimension discrepancy, which was observed during the factory acceptance test at site.
1. Tolerance of Product Dimension
In general, we maintain the dimension tolerance in the design of the transformer products, although it is not stipulated in the submitted approval drawings. It is within the range of +- 30 ~ 50 mm depend on the size of transformer. Due to several factors affecting the actual production preciseness and optimization of design against the required technical performance, the dimension of the finished goods may slightly vary, within this tolerance range. At the same time, it shall also be confirmed that this discrepancy may not affect in view of the actual use.
On the other hand, we confirm that this tolerance shall not apply to any critical sections where the discrepancy may cause significant impact of the performance and functionality, such as connecting dimensions or mounting dimensions.
Lastly, we also noticed that during the FAT, the clamp was reversely attached so that the width of the transformer was not correctly measured. Please confirm.
2. Actual Supply Records to Mozambique Utilities
In addition to the clarification mentioned above, we would like to express our past records of amply supplies to the Mozambique utility market through several globally established EPC contractors as below. We applied the same tolerance practices to these projects in which our transformer products were well accepted and now under use.
Ref.1) SETH, EDAP Project, total 267 units, year 2015 and 2016
Ref.2) ELTEL, Niassa Province Project, 40 units, year 2014
Ref.3) ELTEL, 10240 Goonda-Espungabera & Munhinga-Rotanda, 26 units, year 2016.
We would like to express our most appreciation of your business, and hope this letter shall clarify your concerns and satisfy your requirement.
