Van Gaal in no rush to make signings
Louis van Gaal is in no rush to enter the transfer market as he continues to assess the suitability of Manchester United's players for his footballing philosophy.
The boss is being fair to those at the club and ignoring the constant speculation in the media regarding possible targets ahead of the deadline at the end of the month. Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera have already arrived this summer after the manager approved those deals being completed.
As he reiterates it will take around three months for his methods to have their full effect, the Dutchman believes managing expectations at Old Trafford is something he can take in his stride.

"I could discuss this [specific targets] with you but I won’t do that. I will discuss it with Ed Woodward, not with you."
Van Gaal accepts an encouraging pre-season campaign has raised confidence he can make an instant impact at the club and admits he is determined to adapt to United's culture.
"People are always expecting a lot of titles," he stressed. "Not only in Manchester United but also with Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool. They have great feelings in pre-season and of course we won them all. We have beaten big clubs
