5.3. Total primary energy supply and total final consumption
Total primary energy supply (TPES) in all scenarios in 2050 is
illustrated in Fig. 3. GHG mitigation measures with allowance on
carbon trading and CCS technology option result in lower levels of
total primary energy supply, especially in the case of 50% GHG
reduction level i.e. the CM50T100. TPES in the CM30 and CM30C
scenarios are reduced from the BAU by 20.9% and the CM50 and
CM50C scenarios are reduced by 37.6% and 35.9%, respectively.
The emission trading policy in the CM30T100 and CM50T100
scenarios will bring down TPES by 51.7% and 57.7% from the BAU,
respectively.
