PVA is a semi-crystalline polymer and has very important properties because of the presence of hydroxyl group (OH) in its carbon chain backbone [PVA ], which makes hydrogen bonding dopant cations and facilitates long-range migration of ions through the segmental motion. Suitable control of physical properties by compositional changes and the simplification of synthesis conditions are two main advantages of polymer blending. The polymer polyethylene glycol (PEG) is a water-soluble, low toxicity, and flexible polymer and has some unique properties that support its selection as the second polymer in the preparation of polymer blend with PVA. PEG has good chemical and physical properties[PVA-PEG ];
