Surface sterilized seeds of cluster bean were grown in earthen pots (25 x 25 cm) having autoclaved sand soil mixture (300: 1500 gm). To each pot 10 % (w/w) of the inoculum of each AM fungi (G. mosseae and A. laevis) were added alone and in combination. The experiment was carried out at constant temperature (250 20C) and humidity (50-70%) in green house. The greenhouse received natural sunlight. After 10 days, emergence seedlings were thinned to 6 plants per pot. Fifteen days old plants were treated with different saline concentrations, i.e. 4, 8, and 12 dSm-1 EC (sodium chloride, calcium chloride and sodium sulphate, 7:2:1 w/v as per Richards (1954). The effect of these bioinoculants on different growth parameters of Cluster bean was recorded after 80 days of inoculation. The experiments were carried out in alone and combined inoculations. In the control, no inoculum was added: T1 – Uninoculated control (having no AM fungi but have Bradyrhizobium sp.) T2 – Inoculated with G. mosseae T3 – Inoculated with A. laevis
