Making ceramics is an interestring process. Firstly, the clay is treated to make it stong and resilient. The ceramicists, or potter, throw it an a wheel to make it into required shape. When it is complete it is put into a klin , a special oven, for firing at a temperatures of 800 degrees centigrade.
