Vibrock Limited were commissioned to undertake a noise assessment to accompany a
ROMP application for Grange Mill Quarry, Derbyshire. This study benefits from a site
inspection and sound level monitoring undertaken in November 2015.
1.1.2 This report reviews the existing planning conditions relating to noise and also evaluates
the current sound level emissions from the site at noise-sensitive premises in the vicinity
of the quarry.
1.1.3 Further explanation of the acoustic terminology used within this report is provided in
Appendix 1.
