8 Troubleshooting
8.1 Heavy overlap
If experience heavy overlaps, following changes below may ease problems.
o Too much pressure on the top conveyor springs, the top sheets doesn’t stops on the mechanical stops. Release some pressure from the top conveyor springs.’
o Change the soft springs to hard springs in the mechanical stops.
o Too much pressure on the register rollers, increase distance between them.
o Clean the register rollers from possible glue.
8.2 Heavy underlap
If experience heavy underlaps, following changes below may ease problems.
o Not enough pressure on the top conveyor springs. Increase pressure from the top conveyor springs.
o Check if pusher is set to tight, if so move pusher backwards.
o Change the hard springs to soft springs in the mechanical stops.
o Not enough pressure on the register rollers, decrease distance between them.
8.3 Twisted registration
If experience twisted registration, following changes below may ease problems.
o Check separation knives in bottom feeder is set in different heights.
o If there is uneven pressure on the feeding rollers the sheets may twist. Check if pressure is constant on the entire rollers.
o Reduce the vacuum
o Check is bottom sheets go in to position on all mechanical stops.
o Turn the parallel adjusting knob located at the front of register section.
