the most frequently identified bacterium was Klebsiella spp. 30 (26.6%) followed by Pseudomonas spp. 19(16.8%), E. coli (11 .5%) and Citrobacter spp. (11.5%), and Staphylococcus aureus (8.2% ). The over all prevalence of multiple drug resistance (MDR) in this study was 79/113 (69.9%).
