Material belong to attached BL (for a better identification), is not (prima facie) what customer was expecting (or needing).
We are just at the beginning of the process of understanding the problem and the whole situation, because the container is just arrived.
But, what customer said upon reception was :
a- this is different from our product (assumed 60% of NR too).
b- colour is whiter (too much filler?)
c- performance is lower (less tensile, elongation at break and elongation set....)
However, these data had not been technically tested yet.
These "raw data" were based on performance that may be affected by subjective factors (and customer agrees on these lack of accuracy).
But the doubts remain-
Our action , up to these moment was :
a-- to check with customer the cargo : it seems all the lot is consistent (all the cargo has same "presentation") (all the lot is a problem.....)
b-- to take some samples of this cargo and from the regular production of this customer ((and other elastic bands local producers)
c-- to contact some friend customers who might check (simply and fast and cheap or better for free) different types of tubes (this suspected cargo and regular productions of the other local elastic bands producers).
Please send me your update phone, to contact you tomorrow.
Besides, tell us your initial opinions
Our idea (a draft , to be improved with your suggestions + opinions + indications...) is to send you samples of tubes made here in Argentina to you.
So that you cann test them together with what you exported.
And to test the same samples here, at a couple of friend laboratories. Nothing "official" or at a expensive VIP laboratory.
But the initial idea is to understand about the quality and be able to reply to the true or not (who really knows now?) quality troubles (and potential claim) of the importer.
Waiting your reply- Meantime kind rgds- Roberto Bugallo
