In order to achieve high sensitivity, DPV was carried out in the present work to detect FA of different concentrations and the grams were displayed in Fig. 7. The peak current was found to behave a linear relationship with the FA concentration over the range of 5.0 1010–1.0 107 M (inset of Fig. 7) with a regression equation: Ip (lA) = 0.025–0.18c (nM, r = 0.998). It is obvious that the method is quite sensitive. Moreover, the detection limit is lowered to 6.0 1011M (S/N = 3). Table 1 presents the comparisons of the linear range and the detection limit results towards FA determination among OMC/GCE and the recently reported chemically modified electrodes. It can be concluded that the present modified electrode shows the lower detection limit towards FA, demonstrating that the OMC/GCE is a good alternative for the determination of FA.
