During experiments, the outlet temperature of shower water
was remained at 42.0 C by regulating the water mixing valve.
The mass flow rate of the shower head was set at 6.0 kg/min,
and the shower duration was 15.0 min. When the measured
water temperature T8 in the hot water tank reached 49.0 C,
the shower head was controlled to be turned on, and the experiment
started. After 1.0 min into showering, there was some
SDW in the WHED, and hence the compressor was started to
recover the waste heat of SDW. At 15.0 min, the shower was over
with the shower head turned off. However, the test was over with
the compressor shut down until the measured water temperature
T8 reached 49.0 C. When the temperature (T13) of the hot water
flowing into the water mixing valve was below 44.0 C, the electrical
heater was turned on to raise the water temperature for a
satisfying shower.
