Villages & hamletsClickClick
The villages, hamlets and surrounding areas are dependent on the local topography. Large villages can be built where the land is relatively flat. Where the land is steeply sloped, habitations are necessarily more scattered, in the form of several hamlets. Inhabited zones also include orchards, kitchen gardens and decorative gardens. These form places frequented by small wildlife, adapted to the presence of humans, particularly insects, birds and small mammals.
The high rainfall and cloud levels create a favourable environment for the establishment of forest.
