How do you think Triumph shaped perceptions?
Many years ago Triumph International, took underwear from a functional commodity to a fashion item which made women feel comfortable and beautiful – both in body and soul – via new ranges for seasons, creative advertising, product innovations
- 1960s: Triumph enters Asia and respectfully helped to change traditional perceptions of intimates In Japan, Traditionally women bound their bodies under their kimono to ensure a more petite look. Triumph changed habits completely by inventing a bra which would minimize breast size in a comfortable and beautiful way
- 1970s: we are the jet set of the lingerie business… Triumph sends its models on world tours on a chartered Triumph plane – the Triumph branded plane flies models from country to country across Asia and Europe for fashion shows which were a glamourous sensation… we were the envy of the industry worldwide!
-And back in the 1950s, Triumph was the first company ever to model underwear on bare skin… quite sensational for those days
