Dear Colleague
As you know from last weeks' mail, we are going live with Microsoft Lync Instant Messaging and Presence (IM&P) across the Kerry network on Monday, 24th November.
If you haven't yet booked your mandatory live training, spaces are filling up fast, so please click here to ensure you get your preferred option. During the course you will use your telephone for sound; you may wish to use headphones or a headset to be able to freely use your keyboard & mouse for the interactive parts of the training. Please do not order new headsets for this training. New headsets will be delivered to employees in 2015 as part of the Lync Collaboration deployment.
Additionally for all the information you need on Unified Communications (UC) please click here to go straight to our pages on mykerry, while all the information you need to use these and the other UC Tools are in the Unified Communications Quick Start Guide, which should be arriving on your desk any day now. Also don't forget to ask about the UC Ground Support team, who are ready and willing to help; they can be easily identified by a small UC flag on their desk.
Remember, these tools are being provided to make your work life easier, to allow for better and easier collaboration, to save money on telephony and travel; and hopefully reduce your travelling, which should mean more time at home.
