[NOT REALLY A SECRET] My Predicted Future (mainly 2016 and so on) Plans for SM Entertainment
Let us face the fact that almost all SM Artists (whom debuted before 2012) are at the brink of their career. I’m sure they are worn out, and are bored of winning all or most awards, they’re tired of the fame and just want to start living normal lives. They will continue promoting and having comebacks, but let’s be real, they’re going to be on the down low most of the time.
Super Junior, SNSD, TVXQ, SHINee and f(x) will continue doing solo-member promotions and also keep the down low, but still be present at some showcases as a group. Also, they will still have comebacks, but will not be as hyped and promoted.
Artists from the groups above, who will still be high-key promoting will be:
- Krystal (the current money-maker of SM, will continue photoshoots, acting and maybe even a solo debut)
- Amber (Who will continue going on variety shows and whatnot)
- Key (Will have a solo debut, maybe go on variety shows)
- Taeyeon (Will have her solo album released in Mid 2016, therefore she will blow up for a good 2 months, from there on she will continue promoting as a solo artist, go on variety shows, do photoshoots, etc., she will become the money-maker of SM in 2016)
- Yoona (Continue acting and doing photoshoots, maybe go on variety shows)
- Yuri (Who has gotten a lot of variety show offers recently)
- Siwon (Will continue doing oversea activities)
- Henry (Will continue solo promotions and variety show offers will continue exploding)
It hurts to see our favorite idols pushed aside but let’s be real, they are forever in our hearts as number one, but their time in the spotlight is getting dimmer every day. It’s time for the new generation of KPOP to emerge.
What is going to happen to EXO?
- They are still there, and will continue their activities as idols.
- They will promote as a whole group, the separation of language will no longer exist.
- Lay will be the last standing Chinese member, who will make it to the end
- There has been too many speculations of Tao leaving, sooner or later, it will happen.
- They will probably make a comeback (after their current comeback) after Taeyeon’s solo debut
What about Red Velvet?
Well first off, I think SM created them because..
- The girls were at the right age for debut, also they were talented enough to hold together as a group.
- SM wanted a group who could excel in all three styles of kpop, which are RAP, SINGING and DANCING.
- SM wanted a smaller and more feminine girl group
- SM wanted the debut of a new girl group to cover the mess of artist departures and scandals.
- I believe, this is my opinion, that SM wanted to create a group as all-rounded and amazing as The Grace, therefore, Red Velvet was created.
But overall…
- I think they’re doing pretty good.
- They’ll definitely rise to fame and be one of the girl groups to watch out for in the future.
- They will compete against Lovelyz and SONAMOO
- They will go on variety shows, therefore their fanclub will explode
- They will have their own variety show
- Their suspected comeback (after the one in 2015) will be right after the New Boy Group debuts.
- Joy will become the new It Girl, she will become everyone’s ideal type, and she will debut as an actress and continue being the trotting maknae.
New Boy Group
- Debut in beginning 2016
- Consist of the older SM Rookie trainees, also add in a couple other non SM Rookie trainees.
- Their ages will range from years 1993-1998
- There will be approximately 7-8 members
- This group will be created to garner interest throughout the world.
- This group will consist of members from all around the world such as: Thailand (Ten), Japan (Yuta), China (???), USA (Johnny), Korea (and so on..)
Members:
Taeyong
Johnny
Yuta
Ten
Hansol
Jaehyun
- The younger members of SM Rookies will debut in a smaller group (5 members)
- Their ages will range from the years 1998-2003
- They will debut in 2019
- Their genre and style will be a mix of TVXQ and SHINee
New Girl Group
- Debut in late 2016
- Consist of several of the female trainees seen in the SM Town showcase, also seen briefly in Red Velvet’s Music Video
- This group will specifically be created to somewhat, not really, replace SNSD.
- There will be a large number of girls in this girl group, (7-9 members)
- Their ages will range from years 1994-1999
- This group will consist of members from China and Japan.
The members will all be unknown girls to the public (as of now, 2015)
- SM Rookie Lami, will debut as an actress first. Maybe they will pull a Sulli on her and make her debut with the New Girl Group which will debut in the year 2020.
- This 2020 Girl Group will consist of an average number of members (4-6 members) and will have the genre and style of M.I.L.K.
- Their ages will range from the year of 2001-2005
