The selected research instrument for this study was a questionnaire. The questions in the questionnaire were carefully selected in order to reflect a credible representation of the students’ opinions on the use of songs to develop their listening skill. In order to answer the questions, the student had to select a certain level of agreement or disagreement, which consisted of 5 choices, based on a 5 point Likert Scales being: Totally Disagree, Disagree, Neither Agree nor Disagree / Neutral, Agree, and Strongly Agree. The questionnaire itself consisted of 3 parts.
