I have not heard about this law before but one month ago, our Korean distributor requested us to sign on a product liability provision (to guarantee the food safety/quality) which I reckon it is to protect themselves from the consumers’ big complaints or any major defects caused by the manufacturer. I later disagreed to sign on it due to some parts related to our compensation in case of product recall/big complaints. They are still quiet after that.
Please let me check with my distributor and will let you know. If there is any particular concerns (from the contents in Japanese version), please kindly advise so I can ask my distributor to have a look into it carefully.
