reaction, driven by an external voltage.
Lithium–air batteries
There are a number of new battery types being
explored, especially for vehicle use, that are still in
the developmental stage. Among these are lithium–
air batteries using an organic electrolyte, lithium–air
batteries using an aqueous electrolyte, and lithium–
sodium batteries.
