Foam fractionation of lipopeptide from culture medium was designed to operate separately after the production process. The cheap and simple design foam fractionation unit was evaluated by varying the aeration rate and the foam fractionation column height.Lipopeptide produced from palm oil added culture medium wasused as a model for this experiment. To control the quality of foamfractionation process in all experiments, the culture medium wasdiluted with water so the concentration of crude lipopeptide wasequal to 3 g/L before performing foam fractionation. In most cases, the ratio of culture medium and water was around 1:1. Enrich-ment ratio and lipopeptide recovery were the two main criteriato evaluate foam fractionation efficiency. Lipopeptide enrichmentdescribes the degree of liquid volume reduction, whereas recoverycharacterizes the degree of product separation from the bioreactor
