BUworks – Manager Self-service
BUworks has implemented Manager Self-service (MSS), a web-based interface providing capabilities that enable managers to create, view, and modify employee data within their area of responsibility. There are two main areas of functionality within Manager Self-Service. (1) Team application enables managers to approve time, approve requests from employees such as time off, and initiate personnel actions such as transfers and leave of absence. (2) Organization application enables managers to control their organizational structure by initiating the creation or maintenance of org units and positions.

Staff – Managers and supervisors with direct reports are provided access to Manager Self-service functions
