I completely disagree with the student. However, I need to understand more of how we provide information to students. Please do not get me wrong. I am not looking into extreme services. We only need to be consistent and appropriate.
For this student as an example, I am not sure how the student can claim on lack of information. Our calendar has due date and the price list that we share to registrar has the defined fee on late charges, etc.
How are these communicated to the students?
