The RFID adopters (both those considering and those already pilot testing) were also
asked about their concerns in implementing RFID. In line with the 2004 study, benefits
and costs were both high on the list, only with less intensity (4.27 for benefits in 2004 as
compared to 4.12 in 2007; and 4.6 for costs in 2004 as compared to 4.19 in 2007), followed
by integration and standards. On the other hand, organizations were not as concerned
about security and privacy issues, as shown in Figure 7.
