In Figure 3 Fourier transformed data from the four nodes is shown. The graphs show that the power
from the vibrations decreases when they are transferred from the wheels to the stem and seatpost. The
RMS and RMQ numbers confirm what can be seen in the graphs. By dividing the front wheel data with
the data measured at the stem the damping ratio’s are calculated. The result is shown in Figure 5. Some
frequencies are damped more than other frequencies.
