Mickey,
Ask your sister that lives in New York City if she has ever eaten at a restaurant called The Stage Door. It is near the Sheridan Hotel. They have the very best Cheese Blintzes anywhere. I used to live very close to New York City. You will find all kinds of great restaurants there. Ask her if she ever went to Planet Hollywood. I don't think that it is open any more. It was across from the Hard Rock Cafe. Has she visited the Aircraft Carrier the Intrepid? There is a cruise that you can take around the island from Circle Line. And there is always the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Ellis Island is where all of the immigrants would arrive years ago. It is now a museum and it is very interesting. Has she been to Rockefeller Center? You see it on so many movies with people ice skating. Taking a carriage ride through Central Park is always nice. Oh, at Christmas time, the world famous Rockets put on a nice show at Radio City a Music Hall.
So talk to your sister and see if she is familiar with these places.
You should know that most people that are from New York City are very loud and like to yell a lot. People in the southern United States are much more polite.
We will certainly visit your sister sometime. Maybe we could meet at Bush Gardens in Virginia. There is a great deal to see and do in that area.
I hope that you are having a great day. Be happy!
