The induced double-resistance tag and re-inoculation of
CHM1 proved that this isolate could stably colonize the cole and
rice. No bacterial colonies were observed when the aliquots of
the sterile distilled water, obtained in the final rinse of the sterile
stem and leaf surface, were incubated on LB medium for 36 h.
The results indicated no other metatrophic bacteria and
complete sterilization on the stem and leave surface. However,
after spreading the homogenate, as described in Section 2.2, on
PDA resistance medium, containing 200 mg ml1 rifampicin and
streptomycin, many colonies with similar colonial morphology
emerged
