During initial development, researchers observed and concomitantly registered the aspects that were considered relevant to posterior discussion. When manual activities ended, the registered themes were presented for validation by participants so that they could also indicate other themes not captured by the researchers. In this way, all discussed themes were relevant and addressed the interests of all participants. During this time, themes and generated words were codi ed and discodi ed in order to seek consciousness and identify limited situations and their meaning for participants; the goal was to enable an understanding of the reality and to approach it critically.9
