As mentioned above that the agreed targets of the organization are the foreign tourists (Thai Travel Info Service Ltd., 2013) and as a guided tour companies their staff will need to undergo numerous training needs in order to satisfy with the job specifications for the company. The need identified is firstly that their staff must be able to speak English as most of their targets are foreign tourists, hence they will need to be able to have the ability to communicate with the customers. Secondly, another training need is customer service skills, which is vital in the tourism industry as the staff will be faced with customers and other people all the time (White Law et al., 2009,), hence they will need accredited training in customer service to ensure that they will be able to deliver exceptional service to the customers. Another training needed for the staff would be their knowledge in the history of the sites, as tour guides are defined as those who are the information givers to the customers about the location, place and culture which customers visit (Meged, 2010). Hence there is a high need for the tour guides and other staff to have a basic or a substantial amount of knowledge about each tourist attraction site so that they can provide customer with this information when needed.
