Genotyping of Rice Varieties and Cluster Analysis.
We genotyped 22japonica rice varieties with diverse palatability values using a total of 30 markers comprising 21 markers developed previously and 9 markers developed in this study(Table 4).
Cluster analysis was performed on similarity coefficient matrices calculated from molecular markers to generate a dendrogram (Figure 2).
The varieties Chucheong and Hwacheong showed maximum genetic similarity (0.96), whereas
Koshihikari and Seonong4 showed the least genetic similarity(0.41).
