Americans have become more interested in Asian cuisine in recent years. In turn, rising knowledge about Asian food benefited sales of noodles. Noodles is not frequently consumed in the standard American diet outside of noodle casseroles. In contrast, many Asian cuisines prominently feature noodles. Pad Thai, a Thailand noodle dish, is probably one of the most popular noodle dishes in the US as Thai restaurants have grown in numbers. Dishes and genres previously unknown to American tastes now have a platform to develop in the US.
