What we've done so far is the easy stuff. It's the final detail work that really takes the time but at least we're at a point where we can say that we've got a frame and we can do some more mock-ups to decide on how we want the finished bike to look.
We still have to add the neck gussets and a bunch of mounts but we're getting there slowly but surely.
So far we've put together the basic frame and scrounged up enough parts to begin assembling what most people call a 'roller'. To date we're still below our original $1500.00 budget at $1385.00, which includes all of the materials for the frame, plus some extra, the wheels and tires, forks and an eBay fender. The bike is looking pretty wicked if I do say so myself. We'll now begin doing the detail work and deciding on what type of tank, fender and handlebars we'll want to use.
