Conclusions • In this study the growth and development rates of V. planifolia plants were stimulated by three fungal endophytes isolated from wild vanilla plants and other orchids. Additionally, it was observed the diversity of fungal endophytes associated with vanilla roots, some of them reported as pathogens or beneficial.
