Responsibility
The Lean/ Continuouse Improvement Engineer is repsonsible for :
Identification and implementation of improvement ideas using Lean tools and techniques such as PDCA, TPM, VSM, 5’S and Kaizen events etc
Supports the development of Lean culture via training, role model, and consulting.
Develops and creates visual management tools to assist in monitoring kpi’s towards the overall corporate plan and continuous improvement.
Checks and confirms procedures, process, appearence, and documentation of Lean practices and tools are utilized correctly and working.
Support managers and departments in their efforst to adopt Lean culture and tools.
Review, update, and plan training systems to fill gaps in ability to accomplish goals and advance all works to higher standards.
Lead and facilitate Lean workshops
Do many Gemba walks and follow up the resulting actions.
Review audit findings and participate in their closure with the application of Lean tools.
Manage local lean boards and kpi’s presentation.
Participate in the tracking of Lean development and reporting to higher levels.
Formalize and expand good practices located internally and externally
Organize and use Lean materials
Support the Lean Manager in formalizing the monthly A3 Lean report
Other tasks as assigned by the manager.
Qualification
The Lean/ Continuouse Improvement Engineer shall have the following qualification(s):
University Degree in management or equivalent
Work experience in a production environment
Experience in working at an organization which practices Lean
Experience in leading Lean practices and development
Able to speak English very well and read write at high level
High level of energy.
Good Command of English and computer skills.
Influencing skills
Team player and team builder.
Fluent in English, preferably Thai
Strong Project management
Capacity to facilitate multidisciplinary groups
Leadership to make actions done and get workshops completed as scheduled
Strong self motivation
