Service: Quite good. A bit too stiff and waiters scared to not meet their own aspirations. They were polite, educated and fast.
Food: Complimentary bread was served but only with a tiny little bit of pesto. When asking for butter I was brought a peanut-sized piece of hard butter. As a starter I ordered a cold cut platter. Quality was good, presentation o.k.
For the main platter I was served a pizza. The dough was very good but the cheese was of lower supermarket quality. This was disappointing. Not surprising, they are not capable of distinguishing between "Edamame" soy beans and "Edamer Cheese" even in their menu. For them it is all "Edamame", even their cheese balls are made from "Edamame". Wow.
Atmosphere: black floors, black walls and ceilings and an non-existing atmosphere make this place quite gloomy. Only new rich Russians or Chinese who need to drink their afternoon champagne will like the concept. There must be a reason that the restaurant was completely empty on a Saturday night. Also, the aircon was way too cold. The restaurant is quite small and needs to share its space with the reception. That does not help a lot either.
The pricing is definitely one of the highest which can be found in Chiangmai (and Bangkok) but this small place has not the class to compete in this league.
