Determination of the detection capability of the system
was performed in three steps. Preliminary LODs were first
calculated. LODs and detection capability were then determined
in two different steps. To calculate preliminary LODs,
sensitivity for 25 substances (Table 1) was evaluated in beef
meat fluid. Every antimicrobial was analysed at five levels
around the MRL or the LOD expected for that compound.
Only one replicate per concentration level was tested.
