This Thai delicacy is a combination of sour, sweet, and spicy to form into another exciting soup. This dish can be crammed with vegetables such as green beans, cabbage, and carrots; or it can be eaten with cha om, a fibrous green leafy vegetable, and deep-fried egg omelet. It can be served with a deep fried omelet made from eggs and a stringy green vegetable leaf (Thai acacia leaf) called cha om (gang som cha om kai).
