EMPLOYEES PROCEDURES
Should you discover or be informed of a bomb or any type of explosive in the hotel:
1. If you are informed by telephone, DO NOT PANIC and do not hang up on the caller. Get as much information as the caller will answer. Ask questions such as:
• WHEN is it set to go off?
• WHERE is the bomb/explosive located?
• HOW is it built?
• WHAT does it look like?
• WHY are you doing this?
2. Attempt to attract the attention of someone else and inform them of the situation without distracting caller. If you cannot attract the attention of someone else in the vicinity, wait until the call is terminated and dial the PBX Operator (“0” Emergency) and give her the exact information you’ve received.
3. Do not consider any call a joke!
4. Note the time of the call.
5. Operator to immediately notify manager on duty.
