In this paper, a lighting system for an office space is
developed with five LED luminaires arranged in the ceiling as
shown in Fig.2. The office space contains four LED lamps
placed at four corners and one is centrally placed. Each LED
lamp has, near it, an LDR sensor. A set of two LED lamps are
controlled by one microcontroller, whereas the remaining three
LED lamps, including the centralized one, is controlled by a
second micro controller. A centralized micro controller is also
used to control these two local microcontrollers. Each LED
lamp has a specific address by which the corresponding
microcontroller identifies it.
