Regardless of limitations, the results of this pilot study add important information on the benefits of yoga for breast cancer survivors. While the benefits of yoga for breast cancer patients have been widely studied, benefits exclusively for women who have complete primary treatment have not been extensively considered. Future studies in this line of research should include an active control group, include poor quality of life as an eligibility criterion, and collect demographic information from participants. It is clear that some women benefited greatly from this study, suggesting that yoga intervention should be considered for women who have complete treatment for breast cancer and continue to suffer from poor quality of life.
