Parker B Series Ball Valves are manually, pneumatically, or
electrically actuated to provide quick 1/4 turn on-off control of fluids
used in analyzer applications. A broad range of valve body, seat,
and seal materials provide an extensive temperature range — from
-65 to 450 F (-54 to 232 C) — and pressure capabilities — to 6,000
psig (414 bar). This range of capabilities enhances plant safety
because using a valve outside its recommended pressure or
temperature rating is an unsafe practice. With superior pressure and
temperature capabilities and with an extensive selection of end-
connection styles, B Series Ball Valves typically reduce the number
of instrumentation ball-valve part numbers required in a facility by
60% and, in some cases, up to 80%, Fig. 9.5.
