The recommended volume of specific jumps in any one session will very intensity and progression goals. Table 3.1 shows sample exercise volume for beginning, intermediate, and advanced workouts. A beginner a single workout in an off-season cycle could do 60 to 100 foot contacts of low-intensity exercises. The intermediate exerciser might be able to do 100 to 150 foot contacts of low-intensity exerciser and another 100 of moderate-intensity exercises in the same cycle. Advanced exercisers might be capable of 150 to 250 foot contacts of low – to moderate – intensity exercisesin this cycle.
