Fig. 1 shows the morphological changes in R. stolonifer grownin PDB amended with (i) CaCl2at 1.5 g/l, (ii) 2 ml/l of LO, or (iii)combined treatment. The unamended control showed normal spo-rangia and sporangiophore (Fig. 1A). Whereas, CaCl2reduced fungalgrowth, retarding spore formation (sporangiophore without spo-rangium) (Fig. 1B). The LO caused alterations in the morphologyof the sporangiophore, which remained without sporangiospores(Fig. 1C). Finally, the combined effect of CaCl2and LO highlyaltered the mycelium, with collapsed sporangiophore bare of spo-rangiospores (Fig. 1D).
