3.5. Antioxidant activity
Plants have attracted great attention during last two decades
due to their antioxidant contribution to human health. No change
in phenolic contents was observed at the dose of 1.0 kGy (Table 4).
Similarly, samples irradiated at dose of 0.25 and 5 kGy exhibited
no significant change (data not shown). However, at 10.0 kGy dose,
10% increase in phenolic content was observed. Increased phenolic
